GM Build Info

Is there a GM website where I can research build information for my truck using my VIN?

My SPID has almost no information on it as the truck was originally purchased as a Deluxe cab/chassis.

Although the truck is white, the interior is green and I'm hoping I can find out what the color/code is.

Re: GM Build Info

Post a picture of your interior, and I'll bet someone can tell you what the color and code is..

No.

Not for US built/sold vehicles before 1977. If your truck was built in Canada (for US or Canadian use) or built in the US for Canadian usage then Vintage Vehicle Services may have your info.

Re: GM Build Info

You can also find the generic info packet at the GM Heritage Center archive for your model year pickup.

It's not VIN specific but you might be able to discern what colors you are dealing with based on the descriptions.

Thank You sir! I was hoping you'd see my post. I knew if anyone had the answer you would.
I'll take a photo of my sun visor or steer column and post it. Maybe someone will recognize the color.
