Re: 60-66 truck bed trailer
So seriously, I really did buy that for $100. But only because I have a buddy who is a Ford guy and had this he was using to haul firewood:

Re: 60-66 truck bed trailer
I'm supposed pick up a trailer like this tomorrow morning (the Chevy one not F*rd), and this thread just makes me that much more excited! That bed is in beautiful shape. I dig the color too.

Re: 60-66 truck bed trailer
Nope, sadly no title with it, but I don't think it would be too hard to obtain one if I decide to license it for highway use. I'll probably use it behind the tractor around the house/acreage for now, and fix it up as I go. Aside from the floor being rotted out, and a little rust in the typical places, it seems really solid and has surprisingly few dents in the panels. Even has a new coupler on the tongue.

Re: 60-66 truck bed trailer
From what I read, it's not a big deal. You basically take it to a MVI station, they verify its a homemade trailer, then go to DOR and they give you a VIN plate to attach to it. Mine is titled as a 2012 homemade trailer.
