Shoulder Belts
OK I know you think 66 Chevys did not come with shoulder belts.
However I think the camper specials did. And the manuals describe how there is a nut welded in the top back of the cab so that a shoulder belt can be attached. My 66 has shoulder belts but I cannot prove it came with them. I think it may have been a state truck or a forestry truck as it was dark green with a gold top. 327 V/8, factory a/c, big back window, short wheel base, fleetside. Now red with a cedar wood bed. Does anyone have any shoulder belt knowledge-- a truck with them? brochures? or any kind of documentation? |

Re: Shoulder Belts
Yes they did. I have a 66 Cab with the nut welded in already. It is a c 20 cab. Not a camper special though. I also have a 66 1/2 ton cab that doesn't have them.
