Heater core not filling
Hey there, i'm trying to refill my coolant system, and it I put the coolant in the radiator, and i keep checking the hoses going to the heater core and it's not filling. the radiator is completely full and i can put no more in. but it still won't go to the heater. i know it's not clogged, any suggestions?

Re: Heater core not filling
Start it up and let it circulate.

Re: Heater core not filling
Yup... can't fill it without the engine warmed up so the thermostat opens. The only way coolant gets to the heater core is when the water pump is circulating water.
