Teach Mounting
So right now my C20 didn't come from the factory with a tach and I'm thinking about buying one and mounting it to the steering column but I don't want to drill any holes into the column. So my question is how did you mount yours and what tach did you get?
Thanks |

Re: Teach Mounting
a Worm gear type hose clamp about the 2& 3/4 size[measure first to be sure]. The tach will have a [for lack of better word]leg coming from the back that is screwed on to the center with a nut that can be loosen and turned to place it better. That clap can be opened up so far as to come apart then place the tach on the column and just tighten it up. Very easy about a .5 on the 1 to 10 difficulty meter.

Re: Teach Mounting
Sunpro and hose clamp for me too. It's kinda cheesy but it's cool in a retro kinda way as well.

Thanks everyone! Got a pro Tach at o'reilly's with a 2 inch hose clamp and some fuse box wire clips. Looks and works great. Engine idles at 800rpm.
