Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

This is like the other rear swaybars that I have been selling with the exception that I had it powder coated so that it will be nice and clean and ready to install. For those of you not familiar with powder coating, the parts are sandblasted, coated and then baked in a oven. This is a much harder finish than regular paint. It is very scratch and chip resistant. I have only marked up the price according to what it cost to powder coat. First 2 pictures are diagrams of installed. Want $185 not including shipping.

Guys, this is still available! It is in really great shape and has been powdercoated! What this means is it will look good for years to come!

Re: Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

Wow that is nice. I am getting ready soon to put mine on the axle flipped rear end. I am thinking I will just swap the mounting plate brackets left to right and do a little grinding for the bushing mount and a bit to where the bolts will be and it should work fine.

Be sure to post pictures when it is done! I plan on putting one on my truck but not to that point yet.

Re: Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

Will this work on a lowered suspension? Flipped axle kit? 1/2 ton truck. Do you have a front sway bar also?

Re: Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

Please let me apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I am been gone out of town gathering up more parts. I have no experience on fitting these to half tons. I probably do have the matching front sway bar.

No worries. What size is the front sway bar? How much for it?

Re: Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

The front sway bar is 1 and 1/4". I would want $75 for it not including shipping. This is actually my friend's sway bar. It hasn't been cleaned or powder coated. I only sell parts that are clean.

Re: Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

So I have this finally mocked up on my flip axle and I think it's going to be fine. I will post some pics tomorrow. I have to get some longer link bolts and the only game in town was Fastenal for the 3/8 x 11 grade 8 bolts at about $8.50 each. I also ordered some new U bolts but have some for mock up. I am also toying with idea of putting the forward legs of the sway bar towards the rear.

Re: Freshly powercoated OEM rear sway bar

Here ya go. Raining but I got these snapped. I need longer bolts for the links and it is hanging kinda low right now but when I bolt it up the bar should be up a bit more kinda level with the mount plates and should not hang down lower than the 15" rim should I get a flat tire. Stay tuned. Should bolt up in the next couple days as I get my link bolts tomorrow. U bolts in the mail...

You don't happen to have a 3/4 ton version do you? My spring perch width is wider on my crew cab build. Trevor

For some reason, I am not getting any of my notifications. I don't have any 3/4 ton bars at this time.
