NOS GMC tailgate ?
I have a lead on an NOS, still in the box GMC large letter fleetside tailgate. It's as close to perfect as they come. What do you guys think it would be worth?

Just put it on ebay with a $1000 reserve and I'm sure somebody will buy it lol Lots of rich guys who have show trucks and want original steel still vs repo. Sky's the limit these days on ebay with NOS items if it's not damaged or anything.

I just went thru this for my 59.
A guy in Ontario, Canada was incredibly difficult to deal with so I eventually told him to quit wasting my time! Refused to send a picture etc. He claimed to have 2 brand new original take offs. The tale was something about trucks with RV campers installed on brand new trucks or something.... Anyway, he wouldn't budge from 800$ (plus freight). If you decide to not purchase your lead, would you consider sharing it with me? I'm still looking for one that fits 55 to 66.

This is the large(r) lettered 69-72 style .. I think. I'm not sure the fleetside gates fit the earlier years ? I think it's just 67-72 of course with the 67-68 smaller lettered design.
