65 c10 longbed fleetside tires
1965 fleetside long bed can i fit 275.60.15s in the rear ? without massaging the sheet metal or cutting tubs ? better yet with stock suspension and lowering springs what is the widest tire i can tuck under it for the hot rod look with no rubbing thanks guys pics of them tucked under would be great too if you can Happy Truckin

I have the same tire under mine. I got some room on the inside to get maybe an inch more tire. Would need more back spacing to do it and then search the section width to pick a tire. The wheel and tire combo of width, tire size and tire section measurement will give you the answer on the max.

Heres my 64 with 275.60.15 on the rear. when aired out I have an inch or a little less on both sides of the tire.

I have 285x70x15 in the rear they fit but I would not recommend them. they are extreamly hard to find, very expensive and hard to change if you have a flat..
I have heard the 275x60x15 is better

ok thanks guys i like the look of them on 64fleetsteve looks aggressive which is what i want ... right now it has 31s in the rear but i think the 275.60.15 will look just right ... i know its gonna raise my RPMs but i dont think it will be to bad ... the 275.60.15s i can get for $80.00 a pop Cooper Cobras i cant afford the BFGs lol thanks again all of you for the help
