Tire size

About time to replace my fron tires. Just got to looking at pic below and want to run something by you guys. The pic below shows 255/60/15 out back and 235/60/15 up front. Should I go back with the 235's up front or go with the 255's all around?

255/60's all around. OR, even swap the front tires with the back tires...and buy 275/60 15's. Then you'll have 255/60 15's up front and 275/60 15's out back.

thats exactly what i was thinking. the 255's will fill up the front fenders better and the 275's will give you some more meat out back

Will the 275 fit good on an 8" wheel?

275/60x15 all around for me.....fine combo on 8 " wheels. and they look GOOD on any year of our trucks. But yes, I would swap them around and go bigger on the rear.

Can you run 275/60-15s with a 6' drop in the rear?

yes. i ran them with a 7 inch rear drop on factory wheels. if you have aftermarket wheels the backspace will have to be correct on them.

I have 275's and 255's on my 90, and it has 8" wheels. They fit good, dont know about the drop though.
