With some TLC and new covers, they'd sell for 2x that, easily. They are actually worth what he's asking IMO. The ripped and torn originals are the best to find if you ask me. Clean them up and restore them you could make $500 profit fairly easily.

If the covers are like that or have a seem coming apart is all the same. They are getting replaced. Same with foam. The best jobs get new foam. What did those $400 seat come out of?

Re: ugliest seats I have seen

I have 2 sets of the GM BuddyBuckets but I would not refuse the Ford and Dodge version .I have never seen the others in person but am always on the lookout. My first set of BuddyBuckets were FREE and in nice shape and the others came in my 72 ton truck.I keep threatening to sell the ones in the 1 ton to finance bed repairs on it but my wife says no.

His are a Dodge truck variety. The prices of those are getting higher lately. 10 years ago you'd get those in nice shape for $100.

Re: ugliest seats I have seen

I like the look of the buddy buckets. I've had several sets over the years, and just sold them to make a little dough. I did redo a nice set once and put em in one of my trucks. Looked great, but I really like benches better so I sold em. Sold em for less than that destroyed set posted. I hope he kept them, looks like he can double or triple his money Ha ha!

Re: ugliest seats I have seen

I knew they were Dodge seats,, that's why they're 4400. Not apples to apples.
