1972 C20 Upper/Lower Control Arms
I cannot seem to find a consistent answer regarding the Upper/Lower control arms on a 1972 C20.
Are the control arms the same for a 1972 C20 as for a 1973 C20? I have found a couple of sources that say yes and more than a couple that say no... Thanks in advance...Alan |

Re: 1972 C20 Upper/Lower Control Arms
Go to Rockauto plug in 72 up thru 75 C20, control arm shafts seem to be the same.

Re: 1972 C20 Upper/Lower Control Arms
Been there done that...some websites say they are the same and some don't. Control arm shafts and ball joints might be the same but that doesn't clarify...are the arm the same. Moog doesn't go below 73.

Re: 1972 C20 Upper/Lower Control Arms
No hard facts, Just my 2 cents, arms would be the same on C 20's thru "86". C10's changed in "73" to different control arms and bushings.

Re: 1972 C20 Upper/Lower Control Arms
Here is some information I found out via NAPA...
Moog P/N CK620006 (Right side lower control arm assembly) show to fit 1971 thru 1986 C30 trucks and 1975 thru 1984 C20 trucks. Anyone know specific information that would explain the differences? |
