experts on buddy buckets Please
Just found these and wanted to know if they are the real deal. I can only go by the pictures I have not seen them in person I do know the covers do not look period, So I am asking your advise on authenticity .

no.. The seat's shapes are way different. This is a true 68' Buddy bucket that i have.

After market 2nd row custom van seats with the fold down wood cup holder and it you look at the top of the center consol it has a FORD type release handle on it . That and the seat skirts give it away as aftermarket van seats .Also the wear pattern on the seats themselves .
BUT ... If you find the right upholstery shop they can be made to very closely look like buddies . |
