Re: Saddle up 66 c10

I have done it over that same product. The finish is a little rough for my liking, but on another, I did sand it a little bit and used a good primer, then the finish coat and it turned out good.

Re: Saddle up 66 c10

Its been a while since I gave an update so heres what is new, I changed my plan for painting the frame to using a product called KBS Coatings which is like POR 15 for those of you who haven't heard of it. I opted with KBS over POR 15 because of the better reviews. I plan on using the KBS on the frame and inside the front cab supports for sure and will use on anything else I feel it could use. After I use it I will post pictures and give my own personal review on how I liked the product. After I paint the back half of the frame and coat the cab supports I will weld my floor pans, inner rockers and rockers in one side at a time. Thinking about putting some shorter coil springs in the back when put the rear axle back in place and lower the front as well. Does anybody have any pictures of there truck lowered that I could use for reference?
