Will a hood fit...

So anyone know if a stock '68 hood will fit in a '04 Tahoe?

Buying a '68 front end and would love to be able to haul it in my Tahoe.

I don't know the answer but I will give you a bump. I do know that a '66 Mustang hood and a '97 Blazer hood fit inside a Tahoe.

Does the Tahoe have a luggage rack on the roof? I have a 95 suburban, and I would be thinking about carrying the hood home tied to the roof.

Yes it does. Not sure I would be able to secure it right for a 400 mile trip.

Just fold in in the middle then it will go I think it may go in sideways Have you had some sort of tape on it to see if your close. the roof rack may be an option with several ratchet straps. I would use four two cross wise and two front to back. Tighten it down and it cant go anywhere.

I did measure, and I think it will slide in at an angle. Just hope it won't be too long that the rear tailgate window hits.
