Serpentine engine harness!

I've got a few serpentine kits stocked for those who are swapping to a GM style serpentine swap bracket/pulley setup. This is for 1981-86 trucks....includes the wiper/washer leads, CS connector w/100-ohm resistor soldered inline, oil pressure switch/Elec choke circuit and all correct connectors. This is a high quality j1128 spec'd wiring harness rated for under hood use. Make your engine bracket swap simple with this GM style reproduction harness a complete from bulkhead connector out!!

Re: Serpentine engine harness!

Just saw this post and I wanted to say *thumbs up*. My dad or I (don't remember who) bought your PW w/auto down relay harness and both of us thought your quality was top notch. Haven't installed it yet :/, lol, just took it out of the bag and admired it. I'd like to get everything ready to take the doors apart once, namely warm weather to clean/lube the regulators & tracks.

Couple observations/questions with the engine harness: Wasn't there an awful version of a quadrajet that had some electronics built into it, other than electric choke? I was reading a thread recently and someone mentioned how the washer fluid delivery had changed around 84/85, did the electronics change in that? Any difference in small block/big block? Is the A/C circuit part of a separate harness or would a buyer need to mention it for you to add those provisions? Lastly...$? (I'm sure it changes depending on options, just curious for what is pictured.)

Re: Serpentine engine harness!

That harness shown is $169. This harness is a basic engine harness and IF you have a feedback style carb that's OK because this harness will merely replace your existing harness except for any emission/smog specific stuff. This does include the choke circuit since it works through the oil pressure switch located above the oil filter pad on the block.

In 1987 GM moved the washer pump to the washer jug on the drivers' fender. If you are using 1987+ fenders and plan to use that pump style I'll need to know that-the spacing for the washer jug is different too.

Re: Serpentine engine harness!

I'd also add that in my harness I provide aa pink 16ga 3' lead with a male terminal/connector and its mate to allow you to splice to your oem fuel sending unit lead as well. I donoffer complete replacement fuel tank harnesses (single or dual, shortbox/long box) if you want to order both an engine and a tank harness they will be built as a set.

Re: Serpentine engine harness!

What would it run to get this wired for electric fans, AC, and headlight relay updates? Do you have a "standard" schematic that I could take a look at?

Thanks!

Re: Serpentine engine harness!

This kit can also be used with my NEW 140A alternator bracket kit also! If you would like to use my serpentine engine harness with a 140A alternator, you may want to upgrade the engine harness with my HD 140A option which includes an 8ga main junction run to the battery for charging and a 4ga supply run from junction to output post on alternator! PM for more details/options!
