I have a 1972 c20 front suspension that needs a new home. I converted my truck to a 1/2 ton and just swapped out the entire unit. This one is rusty but all components are there except the steering linkages.

I'd like for it to go and be used instead of junked.

no kidding - for converting a 70 or earlier to disks, this would be a coup...

Yes, it's the full crossmember and all suspension. Just no steering linkage.

Man if you were within 5 or 6 hours driving time I hope some one uses it is hate to see it scraped as well btw I'm a 72 man and of course 67-71 lol

I'll take it to convert our '70 C2500 to disk brake. My son is 13 and I'll feel better with him driving with disk brakes when he gets his license. Thanks.
I'll pm for pickup arrangements.
I need to do some research on the steering linkage. Do you know what I will need and what I can use off of the '70? Is it only outer tie rod ends that are different? And I know I will need a m/c and propotioning valve for a '72-'72 C20.

thank you for offering this for free and not scrapping it. It will be a little while, but eventually this will get used on our truck.

davem815 I know on the 1/2 ton the inner & outer tierods are different on drum brakes vs disc I'm sure it's the same on 3/4 tons as well I have a drag link off a 72 C/30 if it is the same as the C/20 you can have it just pay shipping if this is something you want let me know thanks Jeff

this is a great example of how we should all help each other out on here. i recently sent a complete spare tire holder to a board member for the shipping cost only, he sent a check for much more which was a pleasant surprise. too many people trying to retire or put the kids through college with the sale of our favorite truck parts. kudos to all involved in this deal.
