OT2: The Pics are here
Here's the pics from the other thread. The before pic is the morning of my surgery. The after pic is the latest one I have. I usually smile but in that pic I was tired and didn't feel like smiling. You can tell the weight loss though. Looks like someone has popped me with a giant pin. But now normal blood pressure, no sleep apnea, and off meds thanks to the weight loss. Would I do it again HELL YES!!! Now if I can just get the rest of this off I'll be much better.

Congrats man. I have been thinking about doing the same thing, but have not yet built up the courage to do so. Reading your story thou, has been an inspiration for me. Thanks and keep up the good work. This big canadian is rooting for ya.

looking good Hoss. Funny though, looks like you were happier (judging by the smile) when you could eat & drink what you wanted
So what is your wife's take on the whole situation? What does she think/say? I can only imagine it took a lot of courage to step up to the plate with this whole process. But Im sort of in the same boat. There something pretty major that I really want to do for myself, but it will be very $$$ and painful for a while. But the outcome will be well worth it and life changing.. I look up to you & a couple of friends I have for the courage & strength to do it. the more time that goes by, the more I curse myself for not doing it already. anyways as always keep us posted (I know you will) and do what the doc says. Its all downhill from here man. There is probably not another decision that you will ever make that will such a profound effect on your life as this one. congratulations and I mean it. im ecstatic for you and thats not fluff. Ive known you for a couple years now, hopefully we will be able to meet some day mike |

Mike- The wife thinks it's great. She can see a big difference in my ways of doing more around the house (still not enough though). Also I'm getting more energy as I lose more weight. I hope we meet u next time you come over this way to see that girl.
Free88- If you got any questions let me know. I'll be happy to answer since I've been there and doing it LOL!! BTW: When the wife gets back in town I'll have her take another pic of me that looks more like today
