2003 K2500 front dual shocks?
2003 and I've got the infamous 2500 autoride, and worn out front shocks. Honestly, it's worked well and lasted 120k miles. No codes, just very soft and bouncy. The damping is gone. Rather than spend the $$$ on genuine autoride shocks or mess around with resistors and possible codes and lights going off, I got to thinking...
Why don't I leave that expensive OE shock on there hooked up to the computer, and just add a second "standard" shock to actually do the work of controlling the movement?
The problem I'm having is that the only dual shock setups I see are also very expensive hoop kits, and only for lifted trucks.
Does anybody know of a good way to add a second shock to a stock height K2500?
