Hey guys, im new to this board, but im currently in the rebuild of my 69 c10. i recently changed the dome light inside the cab, and i think i may have shorted out the fuse, now the dome and behind the dash lights do not work. my fuse box has been painted black so I dont know which fuse is which. could it even be a fuse? anybody have a diagram or anyhting will help. thanks!!

Take a test lamp if you have one and touch the metal part on each end of the fuse. If one side lights and the other doesn't well you need a fuse. When checking that [dome lamp thing] also make sure in witch position the variable rheostat [that is the part that twists] on the headlamp switch is not in the all the way position. you know , all the way to the left will dim the lamps on the cluster to the point of not lighting and all the way right will lock on the dome/underdash lamps
