Lift kit question

I have a 67 GMC K10. I need to go down from the 6 inch lift that is on the truck since I purchased it back down to a more normal daily driver 2.5 inch lift. I see a lot of the lift kits available that say from 69-72. 67-68 are not listed. What is the difference? if any? Would a 69-72 kit work?

Thanks

Re: Lift kit question

I don't think it matters.. Not sure what lift kits your looking at but i never assumed they were different as you describe.

Re: Lift kit question

I believe the width of the springs are different, the lengths could also maybe be different, but I'm not sure. I've seen info posted about it, maybe post on the 4x4 area. Sorry, I realize that I didn't give a very definitive answer, but I do think that there are some differences.

This just came up over the last few days. Might give some insight.

Re: Lift kit question

Ok, so I didn't notice that skyjacker doesn't differentiate between the two so i guess it's a non issue. Thanks guys, you're quick.
