Re: 72 C30 Dually build
I believe they are 235/85/16 on the rear, and 215's of some type up front.
I'm eventually wanting to run aluminum 17" wheels with 225/75/17's or 235/80/17's, or if I stay with 16's will run 225/75/16's or 235/85/16's.

Re: 72 C30 Dually build
Good looking truck!
When I built mine when it came to wheels I was tempted to see what a set of 20-22" (big truck) wheels would look like, but was afraid it would turn out looking cartoonish.

Re: 72 C30 Dually build
Great looking truck. I have a 72 C30 that I am working on also. It looks like you may have an opening in the bed for a gooseneck hitch. If so, we're you able to keep the dump cylinder? I don't think I have room on mine.

Re: 72 C30 Dually build
No more dump cylinder, just a gooseneck hitch under the bed. Thought about trying to keep the dumping flat bed but not sure you would be able to safely handled a gooseneck with a hinged bed. But would love to have a dump trailer!

Looking good. Is truck still in the Dallas area? Would be cool to see it driving around. I never drove it more than around the block when I had it..glad its getting some drive time.

Bobvilla, Hanging out in East Texas. Using it to chase down project cars and haul my tractor. Enjoying driving something different, will let you know when I come through the metroplex next time. Try not to linger there too long, Haha!
