That's exactly what I was looking for. Your interior is the same color scheme as mine too (yours is in pristine condition and mine, not so much). Thanks for the pic Ram-Man!

Re: How to identify 1967 Chevy/GMC trucks

These are all the reasons I chase '67s for the one year truck options and the small back window first year body change .My DD is a '95 GMC Z-71 2500 4wd with a 5.7 / 4l60 and 6 lug axles with 3.42 gears BONE STOCK It's another of GM's one year only truck parts victim. It tows anything I have ever drug behind it. 238,000 miles original paint and still kicking ! And it rides and drives WAY better than our newer Dodge ram

No offense, but here we go again with yet another reference to that site that should have come here first before creating such inaccurate and misleading info. Look at the '68, deluxe side markers that never came on '68s which only have reflectors. They also say '68s were available with upper trim. The more you read the more you'll find.

Every 67-72 has one year only features.

No offense taken. seems that you have seen this before so I have to ask a question. Have you ever notified the guy in the link that his trucks a misinforming people so he could have the opportunity to edit his website?

In addition, from his site right below the picture of the 68,

The 1968 model is almost identical to the 1967 pickup. The most obvious difference is the addition of side markers front and rear to comply with new traffic safety laws. The side markers in 1968 where only reflectors, not actual lights. The small rear window is discontinued. Some models have both upper and lower side trim. The CST models have bright trim surrounding front grille and headlamp area. The standard 283 cubic inch V8 was replaced by a 307 cubic inch V8. The 327 cubic inch V8 was still available, along with the new 396 cubic inch V8. The 1968 model still has a hand operated parking brake and drum brakes front and rear.

Re: How to identify 1967 Chevy/GMC trucks

No problems here. We're all good. This is the first time I've been back since I last posted. I have never contacted that site, but many times other members have. I think it's been up at least 10 years and we have had many conversations on that site's irregularity resulting in members contacting them to no avail. I should give it a shot, but from what I've seen they don't intend to change anything.

Re: How to identify 1967 Chevy/GMC trucks

Ok, that's cool. I just wondered if I stuck my foot in my mouth again.

You all know more about these pickups now than I ever knew. I just like them and drive them. Never got into the originality part of it.

Re: How to identify 1967 Chevy/GMC trucks

That's all I ever did, but driving them and working on them since '73 I couldn't help but learn. Later came conversations with others who appreciated these trucks, learned more. Buying parts I learned a lot about differences, too. I still learn on these trucks. I'll never know it all.
