The addiction strikes again!!!!!
Well, I've had a relapse Just bought a 71 2wd for $700! No motor or trans, but the tubs better than I'm used to. Has the same old rocker rot, but the floors and supports are nice.
Gonna be a couple of weeks before it gets here (since I have to pay the guy the rest of his $ ) but he's even delivering it! Saw the ad in the tradin post and when I called, it turned out to be the same guy I sold my 72 K5 4x4 to! Small world for us truck-heads I guess. He's swappin me a 67 doghouse for the 71's and even throwin in a decent pair of doors. I'll post some pics upon arrival. We'll call those the 'before's, even though the 'afters' might be a few years down the road. Yup, the blazerholism's got me by the short hair's again!!! P.S. I might be chiming in on the 'wife left me' post in gen/discussion 'cause she's quite pissed since I still haven't finished the resto of my house! Aren't loved ones supposed to support you in times of weakness???? Brad

Doh! I guess that would be pertinant info eh? It's a Chevy, and by the way, it doesn't have the speaker grill in the dash. Glad you had that post the other day! I'd have thought somethin was fishy having never seen one without it.
Brad and I guess the wife will get over it. she loves me and accepts the fact that I'm partially retarded

38 days later!!!!!!
She's finally here! And it only took me 9 hours to clean out a hole in my garage to fit 'er. You'd think I would've done that some time in the 38 days before it arrived

I think the real question is how much do you want? I never put a price on another mans truck. Seriously, are you interested in selling it?

Good deal! for 700 bucks you couldn't go wrong, even if you have to sleep in it for a few nights lol

Yeah, I just couldn't pass on it. I never seem to have the $ when the good deals come up, and when I have the $, all the trucks are made of gold (apparantly!). Of course, the wife just saw it for the first time on Sunday and can't seem to picture the dream that I can .
Oh, and it hasn't come to that yet Paul. The week ain't over yet though....

Why do wives always see "our" projects for what they are rather for what they can be?
If you ever get tired of sleeping in that blazer let me know, I'd buy it from you, can't never have too many blazer's. I'm serious. Good luck with the wife Brad.
