When is it time to replace a frame

If treated and and boxed is a frame with pits to this degree considered unsafe?

I'd suggest estimating the minimum thickness and comparing that to how thick GM says it originally was. We don't get rust out here so I can't really say.

I have two Sb chassis avail. 1) stock used shortbed from Alabama. good shape, no hits or cracks. has disk brakes and some upgrades. $700 +/- 2) I have a nice longbed frame that has our rear rail kit installed and WideRide IFS. Also had Moser 9" and axles. complete roller $7500. located in east tn. Dandridge.

Why build a beautiful truck on a foundation of garbage? The frame is the most important part for every other component and system to build upon. There are so many options to using junk.
