I have all the blinker fluid you could possibly ever need. I did not work this weekend because of the weather. Now my help is going to Vegas for the Sema car show. I'm going to sand rust for a while and get a few other things done. Fit side marker lights maybe.

And more news. I do have some updates on sheet metal work. I have some sad news to report on my friends engine shop. TRE had a bad fire last Thursday night , the entire shop is a loss. I know some people on this site were doing business with Taylor. He has lost everything at this point. It will take some time for insurance to work things out. We are trying to get some machines to get things going.

Here are a few photos that were posted on Facebook last week. Taylor is currently trying to get a lathe and mill to start working again. There was over 25 years of collected equipment lost. The insurance company has come out but this will probably take a while to settle. This is a horrible situation and he is trying to rebuild.

Re: The Mother Trucker.. FX Race Cars, Porterbuilt, Dyess Designs 68 coil over build

An explanation of what happened to cause this fire. He was dynoing a comp eliminator small block chevy. It is a SB2 combination that makes peak power above 10,000 rpms. The flywheel on the dyno exploded and cut the fuel lines. The power was cut of immediately but did no good. They emptied all the extinguishers and had no luck. It took about 45 minutes for the first fire truck to arrive. I think 12 units responded but it was too late. This was volunteer fire workers mainly. His dog died in the fire because he was in the office trapped and no body knew he was in the office. Pieces of this flywheel went through the dyno room , exited the building and went through the next building 20 foot away and hit the toter home .

to bad to hear about TRE's shop. That can be devastating. Hope his insurance can settle this quickly for him.

That's got to be heart wrenching to say the least. Aside from the dog (poor dog) i'm glad to hear nobody was injured or killed by the flywheel or fire.

I went to clean and start the rebuild of the shop this weekend. If anyone knows of anyone selling machine shop equipment please let me know. Seriously looking at this is worse than you can imagine. There are lawyers involved to help. I can't post photos of the dyno rooms or any of that part of the building. It can't be cleaned at this time. It is crazy how hot this building was.
