Re: New Exhaust

I love exhaust dumps. Had them on my last 67 Chevelle with an LS-2 motor and a nasty cam. Flip a switch right before you pull in or out of a show and turn some heads. Flip it again and she goes right back to being quiet. Little pricey at almost $600 for the electrically operated ones but worth it.

Re: New Exhaust

^^ It sure is.

Coop, What happened to the Chevelle? I've thought about doing that, it is pricey though. I went with a Flowmaster original 40. It's a single 3.5 inch exhaust so it has a very unique sound.

A guy came over from Texas with one of his workers to do a job. He saw it on SearchTempest and told his worker "if it's still available when we get there I'm gonna buy it". Came by and looked and an hour later he owned it. He had 15 cars in his collection and the Chevelle made #16.

I learned on those dumps though you don't want the dumps within 20" of the .02 sensor. It messes up the reading.
My next set I install on the El Camino I am building will be farther back close to the muffler.
