Creating An Old Body Style 2 Door Tahoe

Has any one out there taken a 73-91 Blazer and put a Suburban back end on it, turning it into a 2 door hardtop? Been contemplating it for a while now and just want to see if its been done or not and how hard it would actually be. Main reason is I have lots of old Suburban's kicking around bur not many blazers, the rear door is messed up, and the top needs some fiberglass work. So basically trying to do this as cheap as possible I guess you could say! lol

What's your guys thoughts and opinions? or any threads out there that a guy could checkout?

That looks so slick!! Seeing it turn out like that makes me want to do it even more! Do you know if they documented the procedure in any way?

Several years ago I remember seeing a Burb barn door rear grafted into a 2wd K5, it wasn't painted and I think the interior was still bare. Never did see that one finished.

There were build photos of the Hill's Blazer in Truckin' magazine years ago, when it was first built. Seems like it was the last 8-12 inches of the 'burb and the roof grafted onto the Blazer.
