Factory Overload Springs For Sale
I have what I beleive to be factory overload springs if someone is interested - $25.00 plus shipping (from 72774)

those are for coils and if you weren't so damn far away, I would buy them ina second. I have been looking for a set for a year now
 Under load, they add 500 lbs per side of carrying ability

Keep in mind that you need the lower axel supports that the springs engage. The overload spring install is the easy part. Getting the U bolts off --installing the new lower plate and putting the U bolts back---that is the fun. Save time and energy---get new U bolts and cut off the old ones. Cheap, quick, and fairly easy.

yeah mine either had them on the truck at one time or all the necessary mounting hardeware was installed at the factory. I have everything but the single leaf and the rubbers for it

Leaf overloads are like impossible to find for 1/2 ton's. I managed to get some springs, then had to make up the stops. You can probably have them made up at a Spring place for a lot cheaper then trying to find originals!! Mine mount on top of the existing leafs and then I had a buddy make some stops that I bolted onto the frame. You could also consider having a Spring place put in an additional overload leaf into your leaf pack which also does the job. 3/4 ton leafs will also help but hinder the unloaded ride a bit.
