return line
The spare port is a return line. A stock application for the year had no return line and only an inlet and outlet. You can either return the pump and get the correct one, plug the return line, or hook it up back to the tank. I'm assuming the PO had a return line with the ProJection setup but it is not really necessary with the carb.

Willow,
It may be easier to simply use a fuel pressure regulator and the electric pump that's already installed. Just my two cents, of course, but that's what I'll do if I get rid of my pro-jection system. Brian |

I personally wouldn't use a fuel pressure regulator. My holley pump for my pro jection puts out over 45 psi. You'd have to lower it to around at least 10 psi for the carb. That would put way to much strain on the fuel pump -- it's suppose to be able to continuosly free flow fuel, hence the return line with the fuel injection. I wouldn't do it. Just my .02
