Good job on saving another "real car"!!!!
My first car was a 67 Bel Air, 4 door. I drove it until 1997, wish I still had it (it wasn't worth saving though...) Spent a bunch of money on the 283, had a TH350 w/ lock up converter, 2.73 posi rear end.... |

I drove it till the tranny mounts gave out. Now I am going to rebuild the axle, , tranny mounts, transmission and will try to get the rear part of the body taken care of.

Got the rear end out, on a stand and taking it apart. The rear bumper before I take it off. With it off, a close up of the rotted out rocker panel, bumper off

Does anyone know the dimensions for the rear shocks? I'm making if frame mount and want to use air shocks.

Sorry not much. It's still snowing here in Wyoming and if not that its raining. Hoping very soon to do the rear shock upgarade. Will try to post anything exciting!
