57 gmc bumper filler
it's been awhile since I took my old 57 gmc apart. I assume there is a filler panel between the front fenders below the grill besides the one attached to the bumper. something has to hold the fenders apart/together. anybody got a pic of that GMC vintage with the bumper off? would a chevy filler panel work?

Here is how it's done on a '55 2nd design GMC. The fender bottoms bolt to a plate which then bolts to brackets on the radiator carriage. It may be the same for '57.

hey, thanks for the pic, I appreciate the response. my rad support looks totally different than that. like a chevy support. i will try to grab a pic tomorrow if I get a chance.
