Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!

Thought I would revive this thread...if any of you that posted earlier have updated pics...show them!

Here is my 1965 long bed stepside. I have had it since last August. It currently has a 350 from a 1973 Camaro (at least what the last owner stated) and a 5 speed manual gear box with granny 1st gear. The current engine needs a rebuild I want to lose the granny gear so I am about to swap out to a new crate engine and new manual transmission. The previous owner put front discs and moved the gas tank to under the bed. Anyway, here it is before I start working on it..the body is in really good condition...a few small rust spots at the door front corners...it is going to be one of our daily drivers when we are finished...

Obviously I agree, and that's why a long bed is the only way to go for me.

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!

Heres my work in progress, memory project 65 Suburban; 283, TH350, p/s front disc brakes, tilt column. Going to be the original light blue/white. Getting my chrome smoothies back soon so I cab strip and paint the current truck rally wheels.
