Re: quadrajet restoration??? who should I use ??

Also, if numbers don't matter, I have seen his standard q jets for sbc go for under $200 restored. Follow his auctions at Carbdoctor in eBay. He has over 4K feedbacks with 100% positive.

It seem to work ok now in warm weather but in cold weather the choke still is not right ? It is a divorced choke version, installed on a Performer intake. Considering removing it for an electric choke 1406 and putting it on the shelf....
That's who did mine A1 and 10 out od 10

Re: quadrajet restoration??? who should I use ??

Just got a quote from a shop in town. It will be $250 plus the cost of all the parts and rebuild kit. That will be $300 plus. I may tackle the job myself. I can get all the parts for under $50.
I emailed Bob Stone in the Carb Shop and they are working up quotes for the three stages of rebuild they offer.
Anyone have a Quadrajet rebuild book they would be willing to loan or donate to my cause? haha. I have been looking at half priced books for it. Just trying to avoid pay $30 for the book.

Re: quadrajet restoration??? who should I use ??

Question: should I just replace all the parts on it? I haven't seen a full kit with everything.
