GMC vs Chevy Chrome Knobs 55-59?

Just wondering, I have threw the years collected an assortment
of Chrome Dash knobs and i have some vent cables with a V stamped
in them and then other vent cables with out the V ,also have a T for Throttle
and a W for wiper, are these lettered knobs from a GMC only or did some Chevy trucks have them and some not?
I know i have seen GMC trucks with White plastic knobs vs the Chevy black knobs.

My 56 Chevy stepside has the non lettered white knobs. It's the Canadian model though.

47 to 53 had letters not sure on 54 up

my 57 chevy (3600) had the chrome with letters. and it was all original.

My 59 had black and only two were Letter (C,T,)
