question about the p-47 raised cross member kit
Well to start off with i have 1969 GMC c10 lwb with a sbc 350. The original had bout all the p-47 kit and somewhat assembled it. the kit is made by thorbecke brothers. I been trying to call them for the past couple of weeks to get some answers, but they have been rude. Im bout ready chunk this cross member and get a stock one. I am also using stock upper and lower control arms. my question is how do you know the lower control arms are centered. There is no identification on the cross member or the blocks that bolt to the cross member. also there is not such pin that thor bros claimed. I am in the process of figuring how to post pictures.

Re: question about the p-47 raised cross member kit
The holes on the cross shaft are just on the front. There should be a hole on the bottom front of the crossmember. Those pins will go in the clamping block and cross shaft. This pic is from Jason's Instagram. I'm surprised someone at his shop would have been rude, They are all some cool people.
If you wanna get rid of that crossmember and other parts let me know.
