15x10 wheels on rear of 65 c10?

I realize that this topic may have been covered in the past. I have looked at several threads and have not come up with a definitive answer. I am trying to find out if 15x10 wheels will fit on the rear of my 65 c10. And if so what back spacing will work best? I have a couple sets of wheels I am considering and don't want to shell out the cash for them if they won't fit. Thanks guys.

I have 20x10's in rear with 4.5" BS. Don't see why a 15x10 would not work but I doubt you find an off the shelf wheel with proper BS.

I used to run 15 x 10s on my 65. However, it was tubbed back even with the frame. It was a stock frame. I don't remember what the backspacing was. If you look at Summit Racings website, they have wheels off the shelf in a variety of back spacings.

I ran the 15 x 10's on both a step side and a fleet side with no issues. I THINK that it was 4" back spacing, but I am not sure.

4" BS could work on a fleetside if you trim or roll the fender lips.

I just removed these 15X8.5 wheels (I don't remember the back space) with a 255/60 tire and it just barely fit, no rolled lips or fender trimming.

I checked, the back space is 4 inches.

Those look really nice C/10 King.

My 20x10's barely fit with 4.5" BS but fit, probably 1/2" on the inside fender well, and maybe 1/8" on the fender lip. I'm going trim the fender lips to get better clearance and the lip is really wide in stock form.

I did a lot of measuring before ordering and I think 4.5" BS was the ticket. 4" BS in a 10" wheel would have definitely put them in the fender lip.

I have run off the shelf 15 x 10's but the truck was not lowered. The tire size will be a determing factor as well.

This helps. I was also thinking of running a 20x 10 in the rear.
