71 C10 AC Evaporator core?
Hi, I've been searching for a new replacement AC evap-core, mine was slowly leaking oil out the bottom of the AC box.
I see classic truck parts has one for $199, just concerned of the quality? Any suggestions as to where I could get one, and get a quality part? I want a new one, not a used one. Thanks in advance

Re: 71 C10 AC Evaporator core?
I ended up with the classic parts evap core, seems like a quality part, but haven't installed it yet.
I have another question, where do I find that black putty type stuff that goes on the upper line and holds the expansion valve wire to the main line? I can get a pic of needed. Thanks

Re: 71 C10 AC Evaporator core?
I thought I read on this forum somewhere that there was a core from an astro van or some other GM vehicle that would swap with our old trucks ,,,,,, Was I dreaming this or just wishful thinking ? Thank You ! Tom
