71 C10 AC Evaporator core?

Hi, I've been searching for a new replacement AC evap-core, mine was slowly leaking oil out the bottom of the AC box.
I see classic truck parts has one for $199, just concerned of the quality? Any suggestions as to where I could get one, and get a quality part? I want a new one, not a used one.

Thanks in advance

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: 71 C10 AC Evaporator core?

I ended up with the classic parts evap core, seems like a quality part, but haven't installed it yet.
I have another question, where do I find that black putty type stuff that goes on the upper line and holds the expansion valve wire to the main line? I can get a pic of needed.

Thanks

I have been told you want to use "automotive AC cork tape". I googled that and had lots of hits. I used black 3M strip calk when I did mine but this summer I'll probably order a roll of the cork tape.
