Re: shocks
My truck has a 1974 K30 frame and springs. I tried KYB shocks and it felt like the the frame was bolted to the axles. I put in Rancho 9000 shocks, what a difference. I ride lightest setting while empty and dial them up for a load. Easy to adjust, kind of expensive but well worth it. I guess you get what you pay for. Good luck

Re: shocks
I have the 9000s - they are a pretty good shock. I like that you can make them really soft or hard (I use setting 1-3 for empty for soft ride and 8-9 when loaded for control). I have heard good things about the bilstein shocks too, but never had them so cant compare.
