Hey, you guys are doing a real nice job. Those old 327's will really perform.
I had one in my 64 impala that looked just like what you started with. I also went with the finned valve covers.

I'm curious why you went with the straight axle. My 51 GMC always steered and rode perty good. I've considered keeping the straight axle type front end.

Anyway, Look forward to your future progress.
