Question Storing Glass long term? Ideas??

So I am at the point where I am ready to remove all my glass from my cab and place into storage for the next two years or so... My questions is what is the best way to insure ZERO damage. I am looking for ideas. Or pics. I imagine storing them standing on the bottom edge is best.

I want to store the windscreen and back glass is the same box or create. I have a spot above my snowmobiles that I can make a shelf and mount this box to the wall/ceiling. This is the only no traffic place I have left in my shop. Was planning on the storage room in the house but wife said no...

I do residential glass the way we store stuff is on a A rack. It's just made of a 2x4 frame and some 1x4 going horizontal to tie everything off. Wrap them in card board and tape it all together.

Re: Storing Glass long term? Ideas??

I have stored a windshield for years wrapped up between old bench seat cushions and hung from the garage rafters. I laid the rear window on top of it, added more cushion, and then added my spare door windows.

Store that windshield up and out of the way real good. How about nder your bed? Building a crate may be worthwhile
