Heavy duty crew cab rocker panels?

I've got an 87 Crew cab which needs rockers. Living in the north east and concerned about rust. Who makes crew cab rockers in the thickest gauge material? Thanks

for a complete rocker...nobody makes them from what I could find. You can get slip on rockers for the crew cab, but they do not extend into the door sill. I bought 2 sets of regular cab rockers and modified them to fit the rear door.

Where did you get them from. We're they equivalent to that of the factory sheet metal?

Re: Heavy duty crew cab rocker panels?

I got them from a local auto body Supply place to avoid the shipping cost from LMC or Brothers. I didn't measure the thickness, but it is very similar to factory material.

Re: Heavy duty crew cab rocker panels?

I just did the inner/ outer rockers, and inner/outer cab corners on my 82 regular cab. Try find a distributor for "Key Parts" . I was surprised how heavy the panels were, and believe they are as thick, or slightly thicker than original equipment.

Re: Heavy duty crew cab rocker panels?

Use weld through primer on the inside of the rockers and under coating on the back side once you get them welded in.
