I was trying to figure out a better way to lift the cab on and off the chassis without beating it up or balancing on a 2x4. I cut a piece of angle drilled a few holes and this is what I ended up with. I installed an I beam in my shop last year and it makes installing motors a breeze. Along with cabs, beds etc. It takes up zero floor space, unlike the engine hoist which I ended up finding a new home for.

I'm trying to lower my 69 GMC shrotbed truck as low as I can go without cutting anything, I have Leafspring rearend, any suggestions?
