I was just reading about AC Delco ball joint for your truck. Yeah, maybe I am kinda partial to the product working for GM though the product details are impressive..
Amazon.com: ACDelco 45D0024 Professional Front... Permanently attached boot reduces contamination and makes installation easier Full ball stud and patented two-piece cylindrical wedge bearing for tighter overall fit and fatigue resistance No spring means no end play and easier installation One-piece forged housing for easier steering Undergo extreme impact, wear, and fatigue testing to help ensure quality and durability Advanced synthetic bearing for less wear, longer service life, and smoother steering, eliminating metal-to-metal contact for reduced friction and fatigue Greaseable design where applicable, for easy maintenance and long life Zinc organic coating helps prevent corrosion for resistance and long life |

Re: what brand name to use for susp. parts ?
I just rebuilt everything on my front end and moog is the only name on any of the parts I bought. I have never had an issue with any of the parts I have used on any of my trucks.
