Hey Jerry, here is a picture of an NOS fixed mast antenna I borrowed from an older post. The trucks that had a AM radio at least for 72 got the telescopic antenna and the the trucks with AM/FM recieved the fixed mast unit.
They look close, major difference is the mast and the base that sits on the cowl panel has as slightly different design. Thanks, Ray

thanks Ray, i'll keep my eyes open AND pay closer attention. i've had a few trucks with am/fm factory but never paid attention to the antenna
