What is this truck worth ?????
I was at a job the other day and saw this truck, owner said make an offer. Its a one owner '66 or '67 3/4 ton 4x4, V-6 4 speed, 8', fleetside. 68k miles, runs, surface rust only. Going Sunday to take a closer look and get some pic's. But what should I offer this guy??

Without pics is hard to put a value in a truck, definition of surface rust varies from person to person, what it may seem as surface rust to me it might be considered as rot by somebody who lives in the south.
A running 4x4 truck is worth at least $1000, if that truck has a V-6 then it must be a GMC, those motors aren't too common but not rare either, I have one in my Longhorn, they're torque monsters considering they're only V-6's, these motors were made from the early 60's to the mid 70's, here's a pic of mine.

Heard the V6 from that era was a good one...they quit making them because they held up longer.

if they make something indestructible, why buy a new one or pay to get it fixed? Things must wear out and break so they can sell new ones. Its all about $$$
