84 gmc
I have an 84 GMC longbed
I have ordered the DJM 5/5 drop. looking into sway bars and I have started at my LMC magazine. they offer front and rear sway bars. I want both of them but what I don't know is if it comes with new mounting gear to replace all the old rubber hinge points??? |

Well i've already bought the lowering kit, but out of curiosity what kit would you go with. I'm also going to keep looking for sway bars.
Thanks for the advise. |

Re: 84 gmc
Hit the yards for your front sway bar. No sense in buying a new sway bar from LMC when GM built millions of them.
Also, don't let anyone get you down on your DJM parts. They work fine. My last two trucks were DJM lowered, my current project is DJM lowered, and my new driver that I got last weekend, I ordered some DJM stuff for it last night. |

Re: 84 gmc
so what your saying is the sway bar on the front is fine. I was only looking, because I thought it was old and time to replace. along with the rest of the suspension.
another question, what size wheel and tire can I fit with a 5/5 drop? this questions is for anyone. |

Re: 84 gmc
Unless your sway bar its self is broke i would keep it and just replace the end links and mounts.
