Re: '68 COPO Concept - Vulgar Display of Power
Well, since my last post there has been a lot of "water under the bridge", as they say. We moved into a new house in November 2015 which had a 24x30 detached garage that is my shop. As we went through the holidays we were getting settled in pretty well. I was getting my shop set up to house all of my tools, parts, and truck.
Then on March 8 we began getting torrential rains which resulted in over 24" of rain in 36 hours! Our new house flooded, along with my shop. After much help from friends and a 3 month repair of the house, we are finally settling back in. Thanks to some of the best friends that I've ever had, 3 are members here, my engine and trans for the truck were pulled and gone through to ensure that there was no water damage. Finally yesterday, I cleaned all of the film off of the chassis of the truck and will begin reinstalling engine, trans, overdrive unit within the month. I will post more updates here as things progress.
