Rim fitment

I have the chance to buy a set of rims and tires off of a 2013 Chevy. I have a 99. Would the rims work on my 99? I'm wondering about the backspacing of the two rims.

Re: Rim fitment

First, is your 99 a GMT 800? If it is, and they both have the same # of lugs, they will fit fine. G.M. used the 17" base steel wheels from 2005 thru the end of the GMT900. They upped the wheel size when they increased brake rotor size, but the wheels will fit back to 99. (16" older wheels won't fit in the front of the newer GMT800s)

Re: Rim fitment

My 99 has 16s right now the 2013 has 18s. Both trucks are half tons with the 6 lug pattern.
