I'm thinking the seller was a flipper who had bought it only weeks before. Since I try to catch these via fairly regular Google searches of Craigslist, I got one Google search vestige result (meaning Google had some of the ad words but the link had already been deleted) from June 1st where it was listed as "$3500.00 firm. This will need a Restoration". On June 18, I caught the full ad you have above (which is now a deleted ad) where the price jumped to $6800, and that's usually an indication of a flipper/speculator. It had been previously for sale for more than a year earlier. Here's a still-functioning Youtube video of it from what I assume was the prior owner/seller.
