WTB 69/70 Windshield SS Trim
Looking for complete set of Stainless Steel Windshield trim for my 1970 GMC. I prefer to NOT have 71/72 trim. Not looking for perfection, but prefer that it not be all beat up either. Will consider partial sets or sets with dinged up pieces if the price is right. So many sets have just one dinged up piece. If it takes two sets to make up one decent set i will consider that but only if the price is right. Thanks for your understanding. --george (Rear window NOT needed).

Re: WTB 69/70 Windshield SS Trim
the difference in 69-70 and 71-72 is the depth of the piece that holds it to the windshield gasket.

Re: WTB 69/70 Windshield SS Trim
The piece of the trim that is actually anchored into the rubber trim is longer on the 69-70. It all looks the same on the outside, but the extra length makes it easier to install because there is less likelihood of the piece popping back out as it the rubber is being manipulated into place. Do you have any photos and a price?

George - I checked on the trim I have and it is for the later models as the protruding part for holding into the rubber is short. However, the trim is in good shape. $50 and shipping which would most likely be in the 14-17 dollar range? Let me know what you want to do. Jay |
